LESSON 3: OVERVIEW OF GALDR

galdr is the act of speaking/singing the runes to cause mystical effects. The way this works is that every word, every sound you emit from your body causes a vibration among the air surrounding us. This vibration continues long beyond most people's perception. This vibration passes onto the web of wyrd and continues to vibrate. As i mentioned in Lesson One words impact your future, and it is due to this. Well the names of the Runes are sacred and cause effects upon this web with effects depending on what you are calling upon this it. There are many forms of Galdr. There is Val-Galdr. Val-galdr is a type of galdr that deals in death. These types of incantations/verbal spells are used to "wake" the dead and learn from them. (Invoking the spirit of a dead person. It was also common for Shamans in the North to "fare forth" to the land of the dead in order to learn something, thus I personally think val-galdr could be used either while "faring forth" or while getting into the trance as preparation). This will not be taught anytime soon. But its a small example of the powers of Gladr.

A Galdr Chant would sound like this in complete photonic sound (apologize, i would've made a video before hand but this is not a planned lesson):

and it would be a continuous vibration/sound coming from you. Please, as your instructor in this, i ask no one actually practice this yet as there is much to know before you actually begin. Wouldn't want to make a mistake and destroy your wyrd without even knowing your doing it...
